The all important change in the affairs of the School, as it is themost important move that has been made by this Corporation, has, ofcourse been the acquisition of this magnificent property at Broad andPine streets. The expansion of the work of the School that was made possibleby the acquisition of this spacious building has been promptly effectedand is indicated not only by the increased attendance of pupils, butin the greatly increased equipment which has been needed andwhich was really presented to us long ago but which we were de-barred from receiving for want of room. The tabulated record appended to this report shows an actualgain in the registration of the pupils of rather more than ten percent. This is most encouraging in a year that has witnessed so greata falling off in other schools and when it is remembered that a con-siderable number of those who are a
