Eversince that time there has been a growing interest in this law on thepart of teachers who can qualify at an early date for the retirementsalary. Under the present law one dollar is deducted from the salaryof each teacher each month and paid by the district clerk to the stateretirement fund. Any teacher with 25 years of experience (the last15 in Montana) may apply for and receive a retirement salary of $600a year continuing thru life.
