Army Soldiers with 153rd Medical Detachment (Blood Support), 56th Multifunctional Medical Battalion, 62nd Medical Brigade, conduct a practical exercise in chemical protective gear, using Joint Chemical Agent Detectors (JCAD M4A1) to identify chemical agents on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Sept. 23, 2022. The practical exercise was the culmination of a 2-day introductory course on chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear incident basics, taught by decontamination subject matter experts with the Washington National Guard’s 10th Homeland Response Force.
