VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia (Feb. 2, 2017) Information Systems Technician 3rd Class John Broge, from Wyandotte, Michigan and Information Systems Technician 3rd Class Shandon Williams, from Atlanta, put together a ramp. Sailors assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) volunteered to set up for Polar Plunge 2017 in Virginia Beach. George Washington is homeported in Norfolk preparing to move to Newport News, Virginia for the ship’s refueling complex overhaul (RCOH) maintenance.
