The only localities that we have mapped, however, are those in which it has been observed or noted to be part of the natural vegetation. Hosie (1969) believes it to be indigenous only in Essex County. HABITAT: Forêts et lisières de forêts allant de mési- ques à humides. Souvent riches plaines alluviales, mais en Ontario, également langues de sable et dunes stabilisées. SITUATION: Rare au Canada et au Minnesota. REMARQUES: Cette espèce est cultivée dans tout le sud de l'Ontario, et se trouve jusque dans les comtés de Renfrew et de Carleton, au nord et à l'est. Seules sont indiquées sur la carte les populations que les bota- nistes ont signalées comme faisant partie de forêts naturelles.
