A lone swimmer braves the tide pools at Queen's Bath in Hawaii. This is a particularly dangerous swim as the waves from the ocean crash up and over the front of the lava shelves. Waves like these, especially when the tide comes in, can sweep unsuspecting swimmers out into the ocean with no way to get back up to the lava shelf.
