Strip of gold lace with one-sided ivy leaves, Strip of spool lace, gold lace. The pattern consists of a concatenation of unilaterally oriented leaves, which have the shape of ivy leaves or vine leaves. The leaves form the scallops along the underside of the strip. A mesh ground has been created above the leaves, a borehole grate. We worked with lamella gold thread, smooth filé yarn and ribbed filé yarn, in various thicknesses. One half of each leaf is mainly filled with lamella gold thread, with some accent lines of ribbed filé yarn. For the other half this is the other way around. The stem
