Nursery stock Rhode Island Catalogs; Seeds Catalogs; Horticultural crops Catalogs; Horticultural machinery Catalogs. Every advantage of construction or material found in the Deering Mowers is embodied in the Deering Self-dump Rake. The axles are of high carbon steel. The rake teeth are of oil tempered steel of the finest quality and have sufficient play in the rake head so that they rarely break from contact with obstructions. Each tooth is fastened independently by a malleable clip and can be easily removed. The Deering Rakes are made with both steel and wood wheels, and have the simplest dumping mechanism in use on any rake; not a cog or pinion of any kind, and can be dumped l)y hand or foot.
