OAK HARBOR Wash, (March 21, 2017) Navy Chaplain Cdr. Marc DiConti, takes a moment to enjoy the view from the top of Mt. Erie during a community relations project (COMREL) at Mt. Erie park in the Anacortes Community Forest. DiConti along with 30 Sailors from various Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NASWI) commands participated in the park beautification project. The Sailors hiked and picked up trash along the 5 mile round trip trail to the top of Mt. Erie as military ambassadors to the Washington Trails Association.
