The mist left behind by the whales caught the sunlight. ALASKA, USA: In the beautiful footage, the eighty-thousand-pound humpback whale smoothly breached the surface of the water and submerged again. The mist that had been left behind caught the light and a rainbow shone through. The mesmerising footage was taken by operations manager at Pacific Stevedoring, Jude Newkirk (37), from Dutch Harbour, Alaska, USA. Jude used a Maveric Pro 2 drone to capture the drone shots and a Nikon D850 with a 24-120mm lens for the ground-level shots. He took the pictures from 100-feet away. Jude
