However, a considerable number 8 feet wide and 14 feet long, and some 7 by 16 and 8 by 16 feet were reported. The variations in the size of rack were evidently not great enough to affect the size of load. UNLOADING HAY. The farmers were asked to give their experience in putting hay into the mow both bv hand and with a hayfork. (See Tables XXIX and XXX.) UNLOADING BY HAND. In unloading by hand the most common practice is to have one man on the wagon and two in the mow, and on an average it takes 41 minutes for this crew to unload a load of tons. The table shows that it takes but very little longer for the 2-man crew, one man on the wagon and one in the mow, to put away a load. How- ever, a crew of this size is ordinarily used only in small barns, or.
