GULFPORT, Miss. (April 4, 2017) Retired Navy Special Operator Jim Woods, a member of the Navy Parachute Team “The Leap Frogs,” and Gulfport Miss. Mayor Billy Hewes land during a skydiving demonstration at Jones Park as part of Mississippi Gulf Coast Navy Week. Gulfport/Biloxi is one of select regions to host a 2017 Navy Week, a week dedicated to raise Navy awareness in through local outreach, community service and exhibitions.
