Construction of synthetic clay tennis courts, Preston LTC, Brighton, East Sussex, England. Here the base macadam layer is being levelled and compacted. The 'Advantage Redcourt' system uses a ceramic coated red 'clay' sitting just on top of a similarly coloured stability mat - itself a similar surface to artificial grass. The base layer consists of porous macadam laid over hardcore compacted and leveled. The white lines are cut into the mat to avoid the traditional white tape. The top coating is non porous which makes the court virtually have all-weather use.
