Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip, Palestine. 11 May 2023. A seriously damaged building and much destruction are seen in a residential area of Khan Younis following Israeli airstrikes in the early hours of Thursday. Senior Islamic Jihad official Ali Hassan Muhammad Ghali and his brother Mahmoud were killed in the airstrikes in what is believed to be a deliberate assassination. Much destruction was seen around the building, as the exchange of fire between Israeli military forces and the Gaza factions continue for the third day
