One hundred and forty public schools receive from the schoolfund the sum of $94,660. Five colleges, several private schools andacademies of music, afford excellent educational facilities. Thereare in the county 135 church organizations of leading denominations. Cost of Lands. Improved lands are rated at $35 to $60 per acre; unimprovedlands $20 to $35 per acre. Banks.
