The foliage is a yellowish-green, and the first fruit as it ripens turns first white, then yellow and when fully ripe, is a bright red. The fruit ripens slow- ly, and seems to ripen up exceptionally well after nicking, so that fruit can be picked when white, pack- ed and shipped and after ten to thirty days will be found solid and ripened to a rich bright red. Well worthy of trial. Pkt 5c, oz 25c. 34 lb 75c, lb $ NEW MAMMOTH PEACH TOMATO—A valu- able improvement on the old peach variety in every point. Exactly resembles a peach, thick flesh, of ex- tra fine quality, excellent flavor, very productive and showy in appearance. Dry weather does not affect it. Twice as large as the old peach tomato. Seed yet scarce. Pkt 10c, only one pkt can be sold to a customer. Early Ruby—A real early variety. A single plant of it • was first observed in a field of Livingston's Per- fection. The fruit, although not so large or so smooth, ripens earlier than Perfection. The open habit of the plant admits the sun and ripens the fruit, which is compact around the base of the plant, and the whole crop ripens very early. Pkt 5c, oz 20c, 34 lb 60c, lb $2.
