Marine Corps Capt. Anneliese Satz, an F-35 pilot with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 121, walks with Capt. Anthony Pompei upon her return to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, on Aug. 25, 2021. Satz and other Marines assigned to the squadron were deployed with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in support of Exercise Talisman Saber. This biyearly exercise is the largest bilateral combined training activity between the Australian Defense Force and the military.
