Warsaw University Library Biblioteka Uniwersytecka building designed by Marek Budzyński and Zbigniew Badowski which opened to the public on 15th December 1999. The building consists of two parts build from concrete, glass and steel being distinctive features of the Library's detail architecture, glass building beautiful roof gardens with 360 degrees views over Warsaw, designed by Irena Bajerska, opened on 12 June, 2002. The Library holds vast collection of international reference books for study, national collection in special rooms of art and paintings, maps, manuscripts and other Ephemera as well as other traditional departments of general educational faculties subject studied, being the main Warsaw university research Sculptures on scrolled writing columns of famous academics Poles, pioneers in subjects as: mathematics, logic and philosophy from left to right: Kazimierz Twardowski, Jan Łukasiewicz, Alfred Tarski and Stanisław Leśniewski, members of Lwòw-Warsaw School of logic a important research centre in the world of formal logic, contemporary design
