Echidna nebulosa commonly referred to as Snowflake Eel, Clouded Moray, or Starry Moray. Like other moray eels the Snowflake Eel is a nocturnal predator, ambushing fish and crustaceans that wander near its cave or rock crevice. This tropical eel can grow up to 100 cm (40 inches), usually smaller size in the 60- to 90-cm (24- to 36-inch) range.
