It is seldom injured by theweevil so long as it remains un-shucked. When compelled to removeit from the crib it should be shelledand stored in tight bins and be treat-ed with bisulphide of carbon at once,so as to remove all danger of loss fromweevil, the moth of which may havelaid eggs on it in the crib.—Ed.
