But a marked increase in valuation is an even surerindication of prosperity than is an increase of population, and the fact that Kingmans estate valuationincreased from $75, to |12fi, during the ten years from 1880 to 1890 shows that the townis making substantial progress and holds a prominent position among Maines prosperous communities.
