Nurses outside UCH Hospital, London striking for more pay and improved staffing with banner "Understaffed. Undervalued. Underpaid. Enough is Enough"

Nurses belonging to the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) holding strikes at selected hospital on national days of action in support of their claim for higher pay. In addition they are protesting that as well as being underpaid they are chronically understaffed and undervalued. Many of the placards reflect that they were applauded during Covid but have now been forgotten "Claps don't pay our bills" and "Nurses are for life not just for Covid", "One in eight nurses are forced to use food banks".
