Morse: Editor Breeder and Sportsman: The time of the first heat of the 2:0S pace on Sep- tember 11th was given in by the timers as 2:0714. The check of time in the judges' stand was 2:05%, which was verified by many watches held by compe- tent timers (horsemen), and when the attention of the timers was called to it, a refusal to change from 2:07% resulted.
