Valencia, Spain - 23 June 2013; no people in view. Mercado Central is a fine modernist building designed in 1914 and inaugurated in 1928. This fine roof, adorned with steel beams, is what you see when you look up. It rather reminds me of Brunel's Victorian Paddington Station in England! Please note this is a public space and market, free to enter and unticketed.
