Gaetano and Rosemary Polizzi hold their son’s major insignia following the posthumous promotion of Maj. Anthony J. Polizzi during a memorial service in his honor at Hickam Chapel, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Feb. 05, 2021. Polizzi, who served as the maintenance operation officer for the 15th Maintenance Squadron, passed away suddenly on Dec. 29, 2020.
