Elaborate figure entrance to the Votivkirche, dating from 1879, built to celebrate the unsuccessful assassination attempt on the Emperor Franz Josef, Vienna, Austria, 2022. Following the attempted assassination of Franz Joseph in 1853, his brother Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian inaugurated a campaign to create a church to thank God for saving the Emperor's life.
