By exercising the voice with great force,for a short time in a low key—paradoxicalas it may seem—you will immediatelyafterward be able to speak with muchgreater ease upon a high key; and by ex-ercising the voice with great force in a veryhigh pitch, you will be able within a shorttime afterward, to read or speak, withgreater ease than before, on a low or verylow pitch. NATURAL PITCH OF VOICE. Every person has some pitch of voicein which he converses, sings and speakswith greater effect and facility than in anyother.
