FRATERCULA PSITTACULA. (PARROT-BILLED PUFFIN.) Aka psittacula, Pallas, Spicilegia Zoologica, pt. v. p. 13 (1780). The Parrot-billed Puffin is easily recognized' by the shape of its bill, the line of the gape curves upwards to such an extent that in profile both outlines of the upper mandible appear equally convex.
