HONG KONG (April 10, 2017) A Navy Sailor with USS Makin Island (LHD 8), speaks with children from Yan Chai Hospital Law Chan Chor Si Primary School about his job in the Navy during a community relations event in Hong Kong, April 10. The Marines and Sailors with USS Makin Island and 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) were provided the opportunity to volunteer and share stories about their experience on ship and participate in team building sports and games. Hong Kong is one of many port visits the 11th MEU visited throughout their Western Pacific 16-2 deployment.
