Staff member Fiona Inches stands next to the final flowering of "Amorphophallus titanum" the still nameless second offspring of New Reekie grown from leaf cutting. Standing at 184cm the spadix central (yellow) part of the flower that gives it its height is a sponge texture which is air filled, and flowers for a maximum of between 2-4 days then it is not expected to flower again for a minimum of a 2 year period, at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh.
