The amount of reserve has increased over $900,000, which of course lendsthat much additional strength to the financial institutions of the State, andwithout doubt is the best evidence of prosperous banking. While the cash on hand has decreased over $2,800,000, the loans have in-creased in amount about $12,500,000, showing that the demand for money hasbeen considerable.
