For the accomplishmentof this end the effort is made to provide theadvantages for the higher education, and at thesame time to surround the student with those in-fluences best adapted to form Christian curriculum and standard are high but nothigher than found in the best institutions, and nothigher than necessary to meet the demands of themodern education of woman and to prepare her forthe largest usefulness. It is sought as far as pos-sible to make the Institute a Christian home withboth the freedom and restraint which characterizesuch a home. Special care is taken of the healthof the pupils and provision made for their physicaldevelopment.
