This plainly points to the Order of? 1558 and the evidence of the writing shews that the early entries were,in fact, not copied up till about 1570. If the Registers of St. GeorgeTombland had passed through some similar development, there is noI difficulty in accounting for a clerical error in the entry relating to thebaptism of Agnes Rogers. <&.
