Body blackish brown, excepting a transverse yellow spot on the lli'st thoracic segment between the lateral tubercles; also the greater part of the 'lorsum of the fourth and a portion of that of the third abdominal segments ari' whitish and there are sometimes oc- casional white spots on the segments anterior to them.
