SCHEVENINGEN. The emblem is derived from the gender rape of the Zeeland family De Huybert. Initially the emblem had been established as in azure two crossed herres of silver; In a golden triangle a stork of natural color (partly to the municipal weapon of The Hague) ". At the urgency of Scheveningen residents' organizations, it was changed in the arm of the Huyberts, which has been seen as a weapon for Scheveningen a century. Emblem conducted by HR. Ms Scheveningen (1984-2002).
