Here will be theexhibits of machineryand other manufac-tures, an aquarium,and a yacht harborjust at the edge of theGolden Gate. Here also THE PROGRESS OF THE WORLD .391. YOUNG PROHIBITION CAMPAIGNERS IN MAINE will be the concessions of the type made fa-miliar by former expositions. The Governmentpost known as the Presidio adjoins this partof the exposition site, and not many blockswest is Lincoln Park, commanding an unex-celled ocean view, and here will be erected astatue commemorative of the building of thePanama Canal. A strip of 200 acres betweenLincoln Park and the Golden Gate Park willaccommodate the principal foreign and Stateexhibits. The museum and art gallery, beingpermanent features, will be placed in GoldenGate Park. At Telegraph Hill, on the bayfront, there will be a monster wireless tele-graph tower in connection with a permanentl)ark and observatory. A boulevard and anintermural railway, nine miles in length, willconnect these various sites, while the UnionFerry Depot will form the entrance to the cityand Market Street will lead to the civic cen-ter.
