A storta, Italian, circa 1600 A heavy, slightly curved, single-edged blade with a double-edged point. There is a narrow groove on both sides just below the back of the blade. Smith mark (fleur de lys) stamped into one side. S-shaped curved quillons with chased and chiselled decoration. Grip cover is finely beaded rayskin (minor damage). Pommel chiselled in the shape of a lion's head.
