Bramley Apple Blossom, beautiful pink buds that form paler pink blossom with dark green serrated leaves.

This is my Bramley Apple tree as I like to eat cooking apples instead of cooking them. The fruit is crisp and slightly sour hence why most people use for tarts and dumplings. Mary Ann Brailsford from Southwell, Nottinghamshire UK grew some pips in 1809 in her garden. When the cottage was sold the tree also came into the purchase and was bought by a local butcher Mr Matthew Bramley in 1846. Cuttings were taken from the tree by Henry Merryweather and Mr Bramley stated he would like to bear his name mfor these apples.
