InDonegal it is still within the reach of everybody who canafford to pay five or ten shillings a day for his pleasure. Ofcourse, to get the pick of it, you must pay more than that \but it is a great point that you can get it by paying for asingle day or a week. The best known of the Donegalfisheries is that at Ballyshannon, where the river being oflarge volume is more or less continuously fishable, but thecharges are naturally high. Next to that comes, I should say, the Gweedore fishing,which has many points to recommend it. There is a goodhotel to stay at, where things are arranged for the convenienceof anglers, and the river is the ideal thing of its kind ; aboutfive miles of water from lake to sea, and no still water in thewhole of it.
