Unmanned combat air vehicle. An X-47B unmanned combat air system demonstrator (UCAS-D) landing on the aircraft carrier USS George H. W. Bush. This was the first touch and go landing ever attempted by an unmanned vehicle on a carrier's flight deck. This aircraft is metres long with a wingspan of nearly 19 metres, which reduces to metres when the wings are folded. Photographed in the Atlantic Ocean on 17th May 2013.
