MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Dec. 5, 2016) An AV-8B Harrier II with 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) prepares to take off from the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD-1), Dec. 5, 2016. The 22nd MEU, deployed with the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, is conducting precision air strikes in support of the Libyan Government aligned forces against Daesh targets in Sirte, Libya, as part of Operation Odyssey Lightning.
