[)lant itself I well remember one occasion when Cymatophora pampiyiaria was excessively abundant on certain cranberry bogs on Cape Cod. I saw the spaces that had been defoliated and saw the edge of the spaces unaffected, but, look as I would, I could not at first see the caterpillars.
