PACIFIC OCEAN (JAN. 10, 2018) Ship’s Serviceman Seaman Kernie Sulit, a native of Oakland, Calif., assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), fires an M4 service rifle during a gun qualification shoot on the ship’s flight deck. Pearl Harbor, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to strengthen partnerships and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
