KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. - At the NASA News Center, the media turn their cameras to the television to capture the landing of Space Shuttle Discovery at Edwards Air Force Base in California. Due to weather concerns, the landing was deferred to the alternate site. The 13-day, 21-hour Return to Flight STS-114 mission ended on Runway 22 at 8 11 22 EDT with Mission Commander Eileen Collins on the controls.
