Seamoth, or short dragonfish (Eurypegasus draconis) camouflaged on the seabed. This fish is found inhabiting bays and lagoons from the Indian Ocean to the Central Pacific. It lives on the seabed camouflaging itself to hide from predators and to ambush its prey of small crustaceans and fish. It has a blue-white margin to its pectoral fin, which it flashes when disturbed. Photographed in the Red Sea, Egypt.
