St Nicholas Cole Abbey - reputedly the first church to be built by Sir Christopher Wren in the City of London after the 1666 Great Fire - surrounded by modern office buildings. It was also badly damaged by bombing raids during the 1941 Blitz campaign, and was rebuilt in 1961-2 London England UK
