St Michael's Mount, accessed by the Cornish town of Marazion by a man-made causeway of granite setts which are passable at low tide. The castle on St Michael's Mount was a Benedictine Priory which did have religious links with Mont Saint Michel in Normandy, France. This gem of a landmark is a must see on any visit to Cornwall and well worth getting your feet wet when you take notice if the tide times on the boards on the way in only to see the water covering the stones as you race back to the shore. Taken just as the sun was setting at the end of the summer of 2021. Whenever we visit Cornwall this place is a must visit as the scenery is so dramatic.
