Eliza Magoon. 381 CHARLES^ DOANE (John,6 Prince,^ Prince, Israel,^Daniel,-^ John) was born at Saybrook, Conn., Sept. 16, 1785 anddied Oct. 2, 1842. He married, Nov. 12, 1808, Painclia Palmer,daughter of Francis (?) and Jane (Le Count) Palmer. She wasborn in 1790 and died in Dec, 1841. Mr. Doane followed his olderbrother, John, to New York, and learned the trade of comb-making.
