A Japanese kabuto with mempo,end of the Edo period A 32 plate helmet with a five-stepped tehen kanemon. Five-lame hineno-shikoro with shairo-coloured sugake leather binding. Moon-kuwagata,agemaki missing. It comes with an iron Ubaho-type mempo with a yak hair beard. Black-lacquered with a four-lame yodarekake and binding matching the helmet. Both pieces of equipment are unsigned.
