John Petersen, from the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) attached to the amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25), explains the features of a UH-1Y Venom helicopter during an exchange with the Sri Lankan Navy Somerset and embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit are conducting the exchange with Sri Lankan forces in order to enhance tactical skill sets and disaster relief capabilities while strengthening the overall relationship between the two forces.
